What are Trump's election platforms ? - Sky News

During his campaign, he’s done his very best to shock and offend his way into office.
Trump on his plans for the US-Mexico border:
“I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

His thoughts on the Mexican people:
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending the best. They’re not sending you, they’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists… And some, I assume, are good people.”

On what matters most in a campaign:
“I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful.”

His opinion of rival Hillary Clinton:
“The only card [Hillary Clinton] has is the woman’s card. She’s got nothing else to offer and frankly, if Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get five per cent of the vote. The only thing she’s got going is the woman’s card, and the beautiful thing is, women don’t like her.”
His policy on Muslims:
“Donald J Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population.”
His sensitive tweet after the Pulse nightclub shooting:
“Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism. I don't want congrats, I want toughness and vigilance. We must be smart!”
His statement about the parents of a killed Muslim US Army captain:
“I saw him. He was, you know, very emotional. And probably looked like -- a nice guy to me. His wife, if you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably -- maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say.”
